What is involved in becoming a registered provider?

The provider application forms can be completed online and are sent to our clinical director for approval. If your experience and other details match our provider profile for we will then add you to our list of providers.

What is it all about?

Betterlife Directions is a provider of Employee Assistance Programs to businesses. We are seeking professionals in metropolitan and regional areas where we do not currently have offices.

Will this involve sending me referrals?

Yes. Most referrals will come from employees of businesses who have engaged us to provide an external Employee Assistance Program.

Who will this suit?

This arrangement will best suit Registered Practitioners who operate from their own offices, or are able to see private clients in their employers' offices.

How does it work?

Employees of businesses who have one of our Employee Assistance Programs are given a free-call 1800 number that they can call to book an appointment. We then refer them for a set number of appointments to one of our providers in their area. We invoice the person's employer, and then pay you and agreed amount for the provision of your services.

What do I get paid, and how?

We agree on a fair fee for your services. We add a small administrative fee on top what we bill you which covers our administrative costs, and then bill the employer. We work on a monthly payment cycle, which means you will get paid for the work you do in any calendar month, by the end of the first week of the following month.

How much work is likely to be involved?

This depends on how many clients we have in your area. At present the majority of our clients are in area where we have existing service providers. When a new service provider comes on board we are able to start promoting our services in that area.

What is the cost of registering as a provider?

There is no registration fee required to become a provider for Betterlife Directions.
